FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
If you haven't found what you need here, please give us a call and we will be delighted to talk.
WHAT IS COACHING?
Coaching is a professional relationship with an individual, group or team which raises awareness of the current reality, clarifies what success looks like and enables progress to achieve those goals. Coaching explores strengths, beliefs, assumptions and thought patterns, surfacing what's preventing positive change from happening and creating the conditions for fresh insight and tangible action. It is bespoke to every individual and offers the highest quality listening and questioning available in service of creating new clarity.
WHY DOES COACHING WORK?
Coaching is a catalytic experience which results in meaningful change because it is driven from within the individual. We believe you are incredibly resourceful. Time to think is at a premium. Coaching unlocks assumptions, thinking traps and long-held beliefs that can hold us back from progress. Coaching creates essential space for seeing new potential and the commitment to realising it.
WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT?
Great coaching includes clear contracting upfront on what success looks for you and what you want to get from the experience. You can expect defined goals, expertly facilitated exploration of the factors at play and co-creation of a way forward. We bring our warmth and compassion to ensure it is a safe space to learn whilst offering you the disruption you need to change. Expect to have the mirror held up, which we understand is not always comfortable, and to experience empathy and challenge in service of creating clarity.
WHAT IS THE FIRST STEP?
We offer a no obligation, free consultation meeting where we help you clarify what you are looking for and which gives you a flavour of what it would be like to work with us. Chemistry and trust are essential for you to get the most from the experience. Contact us to arrange a time to talk and we can take it from there.
WHAT FORMAT DOES IT TAKE?
We offer virtual coaching making the support as accessible and convenient as possible for you. We also offer in-person coaching in the UK. Flexible and tailored to the goals you are working on, we typically recommend up to 6 sessions (each of 90 to 120 mins), paced to suit you. There is the option to conclude or extend as the coaching unfolds. You make the decision on when to close the series.  We will always recommend if we think the coaching has run its natural course so that you make the best use of your time and energy.
DO YOU WORK WITH PRIVATE CLIENTS?
Yes, where this makes sense for the individual. We discuss individual requirements with private clients and bespoke the coaching series depending on the need. For our professional service firm clients, we dovetail with the in-house requirements and offer tripartite meetings with the line manager/coachee/coach at the start and end of the series to ensure alignment and continuity.
